Causes of dropout in children's leisure activities

The thesis investigates the specific reasons why children at this age drop out of their leisure activities. The topic of leisure time and its content is a topical one, leisure time is an integral part of children's lives, so it is important to address the question of why they drop out of leisure activities and what can help them stay in them.

Risk Behaviour of Students of 2nd Grade of Primary School Křemže

The aim of this study is to analyze the risky behavior of students at the Křemže Elementary School. The main objective of the study is to identify the most common forms of risky behavior among the students of this school. Based on the established objectives, hypotheses are developed in the study that deal with the issue of risky behavior. The study also takes into account gender and factors that may lead to risky behavior, such as social networks and early sexual life. To achieve these objectives, a quantitative research strategy is used in the study, utilizing the survey method and the technique of anonymous questionnaires. The questionnaire results are processed and evaluated using statistical graphs and tables. The chi-square test of independence is used to test hypotheses, and the Microsoft Excel program is used to analyze the results. The research revealed that risky behavior occurs to some extent at the Křemže Elementary School. The study identifies the most common form of this behavior, which is the issue of internet addiction and dependence. Another potential threat at this school is alcohol consumption at a young age. Adolescents often underestimate the risks associated with alcohol and should be educated about the dangers. It was also found that gender does not affect the types of risky behavior studied. The study provides results that the school can use to create preventive programs against this type of behavior. At the same time, the study can serve as an information channel for teachers, legal representatives, and the students themselves.

Client's Profile in the boarding department of educational care centers Klíčov since 2005

This bachelor thesis is concentrated on clients of Klíčov Care Centre Boarding school department for a period of 15 years, from 2005 to 2020. Objective of this bachelor thesis is to map the development of client's profile of this Care Centre when considering possible changes in basic attributes of behavioral disorders. Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Beginning of theoretical part is devoted to description of Klíčov Care Centre, its history and all forms of offered services. This thesis deals with behavioral disorders and their basic characteristics. Next part focuses on the individual stages of child development with regard to the possible disorders development. Practical part is devoted to SVP Klíčov Boarding school client's profile. Necessary data was obtained by thorough comparison of annual reports and statistics of SVP Klíčov. Processing of obtained data sets led to creation of several profiles of client of SVP Klíčov. The described profiles reflect evolution of client's behaviour in respect of development cultural and social norms. Differences in the client's profile are presented in four case studies. Children's reading at lower secondary school

The diploma thesis is focused on the condition of contemporary teenage reading. It ascertains the basic attributes of the chosen basic school pupils' reading. The thesis occupies with characteristic signs of pupil's reader's behaviour, their reader's interests and attitudes, it describes their relation to reading. It also looks at various factors influencing the development of children's reading. The thesis studies the position of reading in competition for other leisure activities of today's teenagers. It researches as well if present teenage reading really is "in crisis" as the level of reading literacy of czech pupils declines, which is shown in latest results of international researches. The theoretical part shows the basic characteristics of teenage reading in regard of progression specifics of the given age group. It is occupied with the way the school literary education influnces the teenage reading, too. It also studies the reading literacy and its position in the basic curriculum document for basic schools. The thesis gives a brief insight into the readership research history in the Czech Republic with emphasy on the results of topical researches as well. The prevalence of overweight and obesity at Secondary School Pupils in the Region Pelhřimovsko.

Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the prevalence of obesity and overweight adolescents in the region Pelhřimovsko. Specifically job is to approach the theoretical issues and then determine the prevalence of obesity and overweight pupils 7th and 8th grades of primary schools. Anthropometric measurements were attended by a total of 200 probands, of which 112 girls and 88 boys. We measured body height, weight, hip circumference and waist, birth weight and birth length. Based on the measured value, we calculated BMI. We found the value zone overweight 11, 5% of the total number of students measured. Overweight occurred at 10 boys and 13 girls. On the basis of percentiles graphs obesity affects 21% of individuals. Into these 21% include 25 boys and 17 girls. It is interesting that a large percentage is of underweight children.

The use of media in leisure time activities pupils of lower secondary school

The bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of "Using media in the free time of the second degree school children". The work has theoretically-empirical character. In the first, theoretical portion are descripted different concepts of free time, points of view and functions of free time. The other part contains elucidation of the difference between organized and disorganized spending of time. The main chapter is aimed at the media printed and electronic. There are named individual kinds of media and for what purpose they can be used by pubescents. The last, empiric part is made by the research investigation. It is based on the questionnaire, which was collected from two of secondary schools.

Research of reading abilities of today´s young people at age from 12 to 15

This thesis deals with the research focused on the reading of today´s youthful from Budweis and Prague. The results of this research will be compared and contrast. The research is focused on the motivation of reading (schools and public libraries, recommendation of teachers, support by parents) and on the survey focused on the fact how much is reading occurred in today´s youthful in their free time. The thesis points out the representation of Czech and worldwide literature in reading of today´s youth and explores the genres.

Eating attitudes anda habits on adolescents in the Pilsen region

This bachelor thesis deals with the eating habits of pupils at elementary schools and of the third-year students of high school. The theoretical part deals with the definition of teenagers and adolescents eating habits and attitudes, the principles of a healthy diet, fluid intake, the most common eating disorders, metabolic disorders and obesity. The practical part contains the research carried out at selected elementary and secondary schools. Results are compared by gender, education level and evaluated in the chronological order of individual questions.
